At the age of eleven, Chill Will began learning the art of DJing from his cousin DJ Robbie Rob in long Island, New York. Will started DJing talent shows, middle and high school parties, fraternity and sorority gigs through out Michigan. He then landed weekly DJ appearances at club Necto, Coyote Joe’s and one of Detroit’s most famous Hip-Hop spots, Saint Andrews Hall.Chill Will can be heard currently in the mix on-air on Detroit’s 98.7 Amp Radio, Toledo’s Hot 97-3, and South Bend’s Smokin 99.1. He also has the longest running (“88”) Hip Hop Mix Show at the University of Michigan’s WCBN Chill Will is a highly sought after DJ for celebrity after parties and events like Scion’s North American International Auto Show. Chill Will has DJ’d parties and shows with some of the hottest acts in Hip Hop and R&B like The Fugee’s, A Tribe Called Quest, Tank, Doug E Fresh, Jadakiss, Eminem, D-12, Trick Trick, Nas, Juvenile, G-Unit, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Ludacris, Brand Nubian and X-Clan.
Over the years Chill Will has also rocked crowds & DJ’d for The Source Magazine’s College Tour and fashion shows for Mecca, Karl Kani, Sean John, Pelle Pelle, Ecko Unltd and Phat Farm. He’s also been featured in various magazines and newspapers such as The Source, Rap Pages, Hits, Gavin, CMJ, Impact, Underground Soundz, Urban Network, RapAttackLives.com and the Detroit News.
